Janahvi Jayprakash Ingale, who has set another world record in yoga, was felicitated by Minister of State for Home Shumburaj Desai in Satara last week.
Ingale created a record by standing still for 8 hours 13 minutes and 21 seconds in a dormant Konasan seat recently.
“I want to dedicate my achievement to all the women and children out there who suffer from mental health issues such as depression along with physical health issues,” said the computer engineer.
Ingale has been practising yoga for the past 14 years and is an AYUSH ministry-certified yoga teacher and an international and corporate trainer.
Through her Janahvi Ki Yogshala, she is currently conducting online yoga classes for all age groups. “Janahvi Ki Yogshala has been conducting free yoga sessions for everyone ever since the nationwide lockdown was imposed due to Covid-19 in April 2020. I am also conducting classes for patients who are in home quarantine or isolation. The London Book of Records has honoured me with a Certificate of Commitment for the same,” Ingale said.
Ingale has also been awarded with many titles, including The Global Icon of India, Maharashtra Adarsh Yuvati Krida Ratna Award, The Best Yoga Guru, Maharashtra Shivaratna Award, Yogacharini Award by Tamil Nadu Yoga Association, International Inspiration Woman Award, Nishan- A Hind International Award, and Kalam’s Sparkling Diamond Award.
AYUSH ministry has even honoured Janahvi with honours like Power & Wise Award and Amrut Santan International Award. She has also been awarded by prestigious institutes in the US, the UK and Canada.
