Haryana reports 9 new Covid-19 cases, one death

CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Saturday reported 9 new Covid-19 cases and one death while over 2.09 lakh people got the vaccine jabs during the day.
Seven out of 22 district in the state continue to bear the Covid free tag.
Meanwhile, number of active cases in the state were reported to be 102. Of the total active cases, 63 were in home isolation while rest are hospitalized.
Of the total 20,90,38 vaccinations of the day, 11,03,94 persons were given the first dose while 98,644 were given the second dose. The cumulative coverage of vaccination reached 22190690.
On Covid front, the cumulative count of the state has gone to 770805 cases, 760663 recoveries and 9810 cases. The recovery rate and fatality rate were reported to be 98.68% and 1.27%.
Maximum six new cases were reported from Gurugram while one case each was reported from Faridabad, Panipat and Kaithal districts.
