Physical Rubber prices extended weakness on Friday on account of subdued demand as well as lack of buying interest in the domestic market, while higher arrivals and improvement in domestic production also dampened rubber sentiments. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to 169/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 170/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to 166/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 167/ kg.
