CHANDIGARH: With the launch of three major IT projects which are targeted to have all welfare for the people of the state,
Haryana on Saturday celebrated the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya as '
Samarpan Divas'.

Manohar Lal Khattar formally launched the projects namely an official website of Foreigh Cooperation Department (FCD) , 'Hunar'
app, a portal for enrolment for the
Skill development and Samarpan Portal for registration of volunteers.
Ahead of launching the portals,
Khattar offered floral tributes to Pt Deen Dayal Upadyaya and former Deputy Prime minister Ch Devi Lal during then function organised at Haryana Niwas here.
"I have always believed that the growth and economic progress of any State can never be measured through those who are at the top of the ladder, rather it can only be measured if it is ensured that those at the bottom of the pyramid are getting benefits of all the public welfare schemes," said Khattar while addressing media persons after launching the websites.
He said that in a bid to ensure that the benefits accruing from various welfare projects are well-targeted and reach eligible beneficiaries, it is important to improve governance and delivery of services and for this several revolutionary steps are being taken by the State Government.
FCD’s Official Website
Foreign Cooperation Department (FCD)’s official website http://www.fcd.haryana.gov.in a unique platform that has been created to advance the vision of the State Government.
The website presents an incredible opportunity to Non- Resident Haryanvis to reconnect, rediscover, and revive their roots in Haryana. FCD’s website provides comprehensive information about Haryana, Haryanvi culture, reasons to invest in Haryana, the export performance of the State, etc.The novel features of the website include Diaspora Registration Form, Export Registration Form, Business Information Form and Export Guide for the potential exporters from Haryana.
The Department is also the State’s nodal agency responsible for formulating country-wise communication strategies to promote mutual cooperation, and to liaison with Indian Missions abroad and Foreign Missions in India on matters concerning investment, employment, education, skill development, culture, and NRI/PIO affairs.
Samarpan Portal
Portal aims to encourage volunteers willing to serve the society by becoming an integral part of Government/ people working voluntarily would be added through this portal after which services of volunteers including youth, retired employees, would be taken in the field of education, skill development, sports, agriculture etc.The voluntary services provided through the 'Samarpan' initiative are linked with various programmes and initiatives of the government such as education, women and child development, farmer’s welfare, skill development.
The Chief Minister said that ‘Samarpan’ will provide a platform for the volunteers who wish to do something good for society. For instance, if someone wants to help children then by registering on this portal they can educate them or can give sports or skill training to them. Similarly, if someone wants to work for the welfare of women, then they can make them aware about nutrition, empowerment or security.
“The goal of the 'Samarpan' programme is to ease the path of a person who wishes to do something for the needy people of society. If anyone is willing to serve humanity, then this Samarpan portal is certainly going to be a pivotal platform for rendering their services,’’ said CM Khattar
'Hunar' app
App aims to help youth take up entrepreneurship. HUNAR - Haryana, Udyam, Naukri Aur
Rozgar’ app especially developed by Haryana Skill Development Mission
Through this app, the Haryana Skill Development Mission will give training to the candidates for self-employment and setting up an enterprise in various activities besides the regular wage employment training. In addition to this, the students will be given training in various industrial, technical, vocational, and competitive courses through this app.
In this HUNAR app, the complete syllabus of school students from classes VI to XII will be available and under the New Education Policy-2020, college and school students will also be able to get the support of various project work, workshops, webinars, and internships through this app. This HUNAR app would be a milestone for the development of the youth of the State.
