Telenet sponsors collection of old laptops for underprivileged families

Belgian cable operator Telenet has put its support behind a project to give underprivileged families in Flanders a free laptop. Federal Minister of Telecommunications Petra De Sutter will provide EUR 500,000 from the EUR 6 million budget set aside to help reduce the digital divide among vulnerable population groups. Telenet will finance the other half.
