After such a promising start to the season it’s been a difficult couple of weeks for Tottenham Hotspur.
Three Premier League wins in a row were followed by a 3-0 defeat against Crystal Palace, before being held to a 2-2 draw by Rennes in the Europa Conference League last Thursday.
Spurs’ misery was then compounded by a 3-0 defeat to Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last Sunday.
Nuno Espirito Santo will need to have his best players available against their bitter rivals, here’s a look at the latest injury news.
Son Heung-min
The South Korean forward returned for the clash with Chelsea on Sunday evening and should feature after his bright start to the season.
Son suffered a calf injury in the aftermath of his country’s match with Iraq and missed the matches with Crystal Palace and Rennes.
Lucas Moura
The Brazilian made Tottenham’s injury problems even worse after being forced off in the second half against Rennes.
Moura had started the Europa Conference League clash in France before being replaced early on and missed the defeat at home to Chelsea.
The former Paris Saint-Germain star will be available against Arsenal though as he has fully recovered.
Steven Bergwijn
The forward suffered a fresh setback during the Europa Conference League clash with Rennes.
Bergwijn had only just returned to action after suffering a knock while on international duty with the Netherlands.
The Dutchman was left out of the squad for the Chelsea defeat and will also missed their cup clash with Wolves.
Eric Dier
The Tottenham defender is a doubt for the trip to Wolves.
Dier was forced off after just 12 minutes of the clash with Crystal Palace before missing the contest with Rennes.
He returned to the side for the game against Chelsea like Son but could be rested this evening to avoid aggravating any injury.
Ryan Sessegnon
The 21-year-old also suffered an injury blow while away with the England under-21s.
Unfortunately for Sessegnon, he looks almost certain to spend a while on the sidelines.
Sessegnon is hoping for a big season with Spurs and will be desperate to get back to fitness as soon as possible.
