New Honda BR-V Revealed; Comes With ADAS And Many Other Advanced Features
New Honda BR-V revealed. The upcoming Honda BR-V is a 7-seater SUV from Honda for the Indian market.

Recently, the Japanese automaker revealed the production version of the N7X SUV in Indonesia and it is dubbed to be the all-new Honda BR-V with a completely overhauled exterior and interior design.
According to Honda, the company conducted an in-depth study to understand the requirements and driving habits of 7-seater SUV users. This gained expertise is reflected in the development of the second-generation Honda BR-V.

Honda claims that the second-generation Honda BR-V combines the styling and toughness of an SUV, the comfort and functionality of an MPV, and finally the driving performance and efficiency of Honda cars.
Apart from this, the second-generation Honda BR-V comes with plenty of advanced features to aid the user and make driving much safer.

Some of these advanced features in the second-generation Honda BR-V include Honda Sensing, Honda Lane Watch, Remote Engine Start, Walk Away Auto Lock, and a Smart Entry System.
Along with these Honda has added some more additional features like a 4.2-inch TFT screen on the dashboard to display various information such as Honda Sensing, average fuel consumption, distance to empty, and a few more useful information.
Apart from this, the second-generation Honda BR-V also features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity.

Safety-wise, the second-generation Honda BR-V comes well equipped with advanced driver aids such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). In ADAS, honda has included some advanced features like Lead Car Departure Notification (LCDN), Collision Mitigation Brake System (CMBS), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and Auto-High Beam.
Styling-wise, the second-generation Honda BR-V gets a pair of new LED headlamps with LED DRLs, a pair of LED tail lamps with light guides, and large 17-inch alloy wheels.

The second-generation Honda BR-V also looks much brawnier than before thanks to the aforementioned styling elements and a more upright nose section.
According to the details revealed by Honda, the new second-generation Honda BR-V will come with five exterior colour schemes; Premium Opal White Pearl, Taffeta White, Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, and Crystal Black Pearl.
Powering the second-generation Honda BR-V is a 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine. This engine produces 120 Bhp at 6,600rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4,300rpm, and the engine is mated to a CVT gearbox or a 6-speed manual gearbox.

However, this engine is EURO 4 compliant, hence expect a slight decrease in overall power output once this engine is modified to meet more stringent BS6 emission norms in India.
The new second-generation Honda BR-V comes in three trim levels; S, E, and Prestige. Even the base trim level gets features such as LED headlamps with DRLs, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, smartphone connectivity, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist, dual front airbags, side airbags, parking sensors, power-retractable ORVMs, ABS with EBD, keyless entry and a few more.

Whereas the top-end Prestige variant adds features such as LED fog lamps, smart entry system, walk-away auto-lock, TFT meter, rear AC double blower, remote engine start, auto foldable side door mirror with LED turning signal, 17-inch alloy wheel, leather coating on the armrests, door sides and dashboard panels, and 2nd-row armrest console, Honda Lane Watch and ADAS.

Thoughts About New Honda BR-V
The new Honda BR-V looks a lot like an SUV now with its bold and upright nose, but it is highly sophisticated and luxurious as well with many features like ADAS, leather interior, remote engine start and many more.
