The Sunrisers are scheduled to play the Delhi Capitals tonight at 7:30 IST as the BCCI had come out to address the situation of the IPL game. The cricketing board had stated that the match will commence as planned with Natarajan and six other team staff members who have been in close contact with the player will all enter self-isolation.

The former English cricketer, Michael Vaughan took to social media to openly voice his opinion on the COVID-19 situation in the IPL in a Tweet that stated “Let’s see if the IPL gets cancelled like the last Test!!!!! I guarantee it won’t be …”
Vaughan referred to the recently cancelled fifth Test match during the Inda Tour of England after the Indian coach Ravi Shastri had tested positive during the series. The games continued until furthermore, positives cases emerged in the Indian camp which eventually led to the complete halt of the series.
Meanwhile, Natarajan has been isolated along with six close contacts which include his teammate Vijay Shankar, Vijay Kumar (team manager), Tushar Khedkar (logistics manager), Shyam Sunder (Physio), Anjana Vannan (doctor), and Periyasamy Ganesan (net bowler).
