Apple crisp macchiato joins pumpkin spice latte on the Starbucks menu

Starbucks Corp. SBUX, +0.45% announced a new fall beverage that will join the pumpkin spice latte on the menu, the apple crisp macchiato. Available on Tuesday, the drink will be available hot or cold and comes topped with a caramelized-spiced-apple drizzle. The PSL was back on the menu for the 18th year on Monday, along with the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. Pumpkin-based food items are also available. Starbucks stock has gained 7.6% for the year to date while the S&P 500 index SPX, +0.85% is up 19.3% for the period.
