Oppo has officially showcased MagVOOC magnetic wireless charging technology. It was demonstrated at the Smart China Expo 2021 where it also showed a bunch of products packed with the tech. The whole idea behind the tech is similar to Apple's MagSafe and makes it the second Android OEM to do so. The first one was Realme that showcased the MagDart tech earlier this month.

The complete Oppo MagVOOC wireless charging lineup includes three different product types. These include a 40W charging stand, a 20W charging pad, and a 20W wireless power bank. These accessories look like your traditionally available charging accessories but the difference is only in the way how charging works.

One simply needs to place the phone on the charging stand to get started. Oppo says its 40W charging stand takes only 56 minutes to charge 4,000mAh battery available on the Oppo Ace 2. The good thing is that older devices can still be charged using the stand but at a relatively lower 30W speed.

These magnetic wireless charging accessories from Oppo also supports Qi wireless charging standard. It means even if your particular device does not support the MagVOOC tech, it can still get charged wirelessly. As for the power bank, it features USB Type-C and also supports 10W wired charging. It will take about 2 hours to completely charge the bank.
