Erode district reported 143 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, taking the total cases to 97,438. While 189 persons were discharged, 1,673 persons continue to be under treatment.

In Salem, 80 fresh cases were reported of which 61 cases were indigenous. In Namakkal, 46 cases were reported.
