Covid-19: 218 new cases detected in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Aug 23 (UNI) As many as 218 fresh Covid-19 patients and seven deaths were reported in a single day today, taking the district's tally of such cases to 2,02,645 and the toll to 5,671, respectively.
On the other hand, 364 more patients were discharged during the day across the district, taking overall count of recoveries to 1,95,286.
There are now 1,688 active cases in the district, an official report said.
