The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), on Monday, appointed Shailendra Singh, IFoS (TR:1997) as Deputy Director General (DDG), in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
As per the official statement, “Shailendra Singh, IFoS (TR:1997) as Deputy Director General (DDG), UIDAI, HQ, New Delhi under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology for a tenure of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Laxmi P. Rao Yarram, IFoS (MH:1986)”
The appointment of Peeyush Kumar along with several others has been approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) which is headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as per the order by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
Talking about the others who have been appointed by the central government is Sreekanth T, lAS (UT:2004) as Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India for an overall tenure of five years
