German rental company AVL Arbeitsbühnenvermietung has taken delivery of one of the first 46ft Haulotte Sigma 16 Pro articulated all electric boom lifts in the region.
The company, based in Ludwigsfelde south of Berlin, is a System Lift member – association of independent rental companies. The Sigma 16 Pro has a working height is 16.1 metres, with a maximum outreach of 8.05 metres at an up & over height of 7.6 metre. Features include a jib with 130 degrees of articulation as well a rotation with an unrestricted platform capacity of 230kg. The standard platform is 800m by 1.2 metres with a 1.5 metre wide option which comes with dual side entrances.
The new Sigma 16 hand over
Managing director Philipp de Nardi cites a range of reasons that convinced him of take one of the new Sigmas, including the wide multi entrance platform option, the rotating jib and the pure vertical lift geometry.
