    Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

    In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 15 stocks ended in the red.

    NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 403.19 points up at 55958.98 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

    On the BSE, R J Bio Tech Lt (down 20.00 per cent), S R Industries (down 13.62 per cent), Capacit'e Infraprojects Ltd. (down 12.49 per cent), Ratnabhumi Developer (down 11.88 per cent) and Zenlabs Ethica (down 9.84 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

    In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 15 stocks ended in the red.

    The index closed 128.15 points up at 16624.6.

    On the BSE, Franklin Leasing & F, Rodium Realty, AK Spintex L, RJ Shah Co and Aashee Infotech hit their fresh 52-week lows, while East India Sec, TD Power Sys, Kabra Extrusion, Linde India and BLS Int. Services touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
