NEW CASES
* 50 new locally-acquired cases
* 40 linked to outbreaks
- Seven linked to the Shepparton outbreak
- Six to linked to MyCentre Childcare in Broadmeadows
- 12 linked to Newport outbreak
- Six are day 13 tests from the Hobsons Bay cluster, including Al-Taqwa College close contacts
- Four linked to the Royal Melbourne Hospital outbreak
- Two liked to Royal Children's Hospital doctor
- Three known contacts of earlier household cases
* 10 unlinked "mystery" cases, though authorities believe they will be linked to outbreaks
- Four are in the Altona North and Wyndham area
- Three in Carlton and Fitzroy area
- Two in Thomastown
- One in Southbank
* 11 cases isolating while infectious
* 39 cases were not isolating while infectious
* 34 people in hospital, nine of whom are in intensive care including seven on a ventilator
* 522 active cases
* 48,424 tests in the 24 hours to Tuesday morning
VACCINATIONS
* 29,810 vaccines administered on Monday at state-run hubs
CLOSE CONTACTS
* About 16,612 primary close contacts
* About 14,440 secondary close contacts
EXPOSURE SITES
* More than 630 listed including multiple supermarkets, chemists and gyms.
