(WARNING: Explicit Language)

Drake seems to have taken aim at Kanye West in his verse for Trippie Redd's new track, Betrayal

The song dropped over the weekend, and fans immediately took note of Drake's lines.

"All these fools I'm beefin' that I barely know/ Forty-five, forty-four (burned out), let it go," the Canadian star raps, adding: "Ye ain't changin' shit for me, it's set in stone."

Fans were quick to point out that Kanye is 44 years old, which could be why Drake mentions it in his verse. Then, of course, there's the line where he seems to address Kanye directly.

Members from Kanye West's team have also caught wind of Drake's verse in Betrayal, with Kanye's collaborator Consequence writing on Twitter: "Fuck a Betrayal. It's the Disrespect for me dawg. Wit Trippie Redd Shotgun. Respect My Team. It's Party Time [sic]."

Drake and Kanye have had a rocky relationship for years, but the feud between the two has reignited recently as they both gear up to release new albums.

Drake's Certified Lover Boy has been delayed several times but is expected to release soon. At the same time, Kanye's much-delayed Donda album is also expected to drop this year.

Of course, securing the perfect release date is of utmost importance to every artist, and doing so without stepping on someone else's toes (releasing an album at the same time as your competitor) is where it becomes tricky.
