The BSE Sensex is at 55,781 (up 0.7%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 2.0%), TATA STEEL (up 1.5%) and BAJAJ FINANCE (up 1.4%). Other gainers include L&T (up 1.1%) and TECH MAHINDRA (up 1.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ULTRATECH CEMENT and TATA STEEL.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 16,592 (up 0.6%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include HINDALCO (up 2.1%), HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 2.0%) and CIPLA (up 1.3%). Other gainers include BAJAJ FINANCE (up 1.2%) and WIPRO (up 1.2%).
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 38,528 to 55,781, registering a gain of 17,253 points (up 44.6%).
MPHASIS net profit stood at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended June 2021, compared to a profit of Rs 3 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 8.7% to Rs 26.9 billion during the period as against Rs 24.7 billion in April-June 2020.
For the year ended March 2021, MPHASIS reported 2.7% increase in net profit to Rs 12.2 billion compared to net profit of Rs 11.8 billion during FY20.
Revenue of the company grew 9.9% to Rs 97 billion during FY21.
The current Price to earnings ratio of MPHASIS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 43.3x.
