Jimmy Hayes Dead - NHL Player Dies Suddenly at 31
Jimmy Hayes, who played in the National Hockey League for the Boston Bruins, died suddenly at the age of 31 on Monday (August 23).
The 31-year-old athlete’s death was announced by the Bruins on Twitter, who wrote, “The Boston Bruins are heartbroken by the passing of Dorchester native and former Bruin Jimmy Hayes. Our thoughts are with his wife Kristen, his sons Beau and Mac, and the entire Hayes family during this very difficult time.”

Law enforcement and first responders were called to Jimmy‘s Milton, Massachusetts home and he was pronounced dead, the Boston Globe reports. The police added that the death was not considered suspicious. No cause of death has been released at this time.
