Mumbai: Drugs worth Rs 37 crore seized; 109 held in eight months

MUMBAI: As the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) continues its action against drug peddlers, the agency said that it has seized drugs weighing about 2,538 kgs in the last eight months.
The drugs are worth Rs 37 crore.
ANI quoted the ANC as saying that they also arrested 109 peddlers.
Among those held were 16 foreign nationals.
So far, a total of 73 cases have been registered.
