'She should've kept it for herself as compensation!' Love Island fans think winner Millie was WRONG to split the £50k prize with Liam and should have punished him for cheating in Casa Amor
Love Island fans have slammed winner Millie Court for splitting the £50k prize money with her boyfriend Liam Reardon - who famously cheated on her during his stay in Casa Amor only to lie to her about it afterwards.
Having been announced as the series winners on Monday night's final, Millie, 24, picked the envelope with the money inside meaning she could choose to keep the cash herself and leave Liam, 22, with nothing, or split it evenly between them.
She chose to split the cash; but many were left furious that she didn't use the opportunity to teach him a lesson.

Twitter was awash with comments, expressing that Millie would have been better off taking all the money for herself, after the way Liam treated her earlier in the series.
'Millie should have kept the money since how Liam cheated on her in Casa Amor. I can’t wait for her to rewatch this and see how he played her. Smh,' one penned on Twitter.
Another posted: 'The way I shouted ‘steal the money’ the second millie had it!'
A third tweeted: 'Love island producers had one last evening of love island and they still didn’t make Millie steal the money. That would of been the best thing to happen this series!'

Of saying the L word, Liam told host Laura Whitmore: 'It was on the tip of my tongue for a week, and I was so close to saying it but I wanted to wait until a nice time, and I thought that last date in the castle was the perfect moment. So I said it, and I beat Millie to it!'
While Millie added: 'We both planned to say it, but we didn’t know we were both going to say it that night. But because it was his birthday, I thought it was the perfect time to say it and make it really special.'
Liam then sealed the deal in front of Laura and the other finalists on Monday's live broadcast by asking Millie to be his girlfriend, telling her he'd been 'thinking about saying it for a while'.
