GUWAHATI, Aug 22: An opportunity to reach a wider market is ready for the independent filmmakers and other content creators of North East India. In order to promote the independent filmmakers, UDFoundation of Guwahati and Reel Talkys Motion Pictures of Mumbai joined hands. This will be a single window to the filmmakers to open the doors to wider horizons for the artists, filmmakers & content creators of Northeast, enhancing the reach and exclusive content of the entire North-eastern region of India, to a broader & global audience. Further, this first-of-its-kind partnership and initiative aim is to finance the filmmakers and producers based on the contents. Filmmakers & artists can, now, directly reach out to UDF or to Reel Talkys with their content for showcasing their creations to the world. The esteemed panel would select the best content to share on their platforms, along with a few international tie-ups. The prime focus of UDFoundation is to archive/preserve the music and aural/video history of the arts-land and people of NE region. Founder of RTMP, Suparna Chakravarty Mukherjee comes with almost two decades of experience of making documentary films based on unheard-untold voices from the art world and also committed to the marketing of valuable productions to an international market.
