This movie is inching towards the finishing line as only 12 days of shooting are left for a complete wrap-up. 


Apart from this film, surya is also focusing on the final stages of the 'Jai Bheem' shooting and that would be a direct OTT released flick. After this, surya has set aside and locked his dates to act in the rural entertainer drama 'Vadivasal' directed by Vetrimaran. Velraj will be the cinematographer, gv prakash the composer and Jackie will be the art director and other technicians will be revealed sooner before the shooting begins. 


Vetrimaran is currently directing the upcoming film 'Viduthalai' starring vijay sethupathi and soori and the filming of this movie is nearing completion and patchwork shooting work is going in full swing. Now, Anju Kurian is approached to do the female lead role in 'Vaadi Vaasal' and she has been approached by the production house to do the lead role.
