Budget 90k+ Intel Alder lake or Zen3 Ryzen 5000 series?

Hey guys,
Need buying advice for laptop. Can intel alder lake compete with the Zen3 Ryzen 9 5900HX series laptop-based processor? Should I buy right now or wait for intel new-gen?
Ps: I have a great history with intel hence banking upon it seems reasonable.

I think you’d be better advised if you mention the application you need it for. One Laptop maybe better suited to a particular application than the other.
