BHUBANESWAR: The
Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) issued admit cards for Odisha Civil Services (
OCS) preliminary exams on Friday, but the process was marked by errors, which were pointed out by the examinees, many of whom even posted them on social media.
One candidate posted the image of an admit card which has no details about the exam centre. Another got an admit card for an exam related to assistant soil conservation officers’ post, instead of the OCS prelims. “We cannot expect such mistakes from OPSC,” the person said.
One got an admit card for the recruitment to the post of assistant professor while some admit cards did not print the date and time of the examination. “I cannot even download the card. For me, it’s only a text that says admission card without any link and 2-3 blank columns,” wrote another aspirant in a twitter post.
A candidate stated that he could not find his roll number, photo, signature, thumb impression on the admit card. “It didn’t look like an admit card for OCS prelims. I hope there is no mistake in tabulation of marksheets,” the candidate added.
OPSC acknowledged the errors but said it occurred due to technical glitches. “We have resolved the issue on Friday only without any delay. There were some technical issues and the concerned officials have addressed the problems.
