Tata is all set to launch one of its much-awaited car HBX very soon in Indian market, but ahead of its launch, the company has released the official teaser for the first time on digital platforms which reveals the LED DRL, and headlights of the car.
The company wanted to launch the car in January 2021, but the plans were delayed due to the covid-19 pandemic outbreak. Recently, people have spotted HBX many times on the road while testing, which gives a clear indication that the carmakers are almost ready and it can be launch somewhere around Diwali.

Upcoming Tata HBX will compete against Mahindra KUV100, Maruti Ignis, Hyundai AX1 and upcoming Citroen CC21.
Key Features
The micro SUV will get a chrome front grille with LED DRLs, projector headlamps, prominent front and rear bumpers, matted thick cladding, diamond-cut alloy wheels and wraparound tail lamps.
HBX could be the best option for those who are looking for a micro SUV with loaded features under budget.
Interior
Customers can expect a decent touch screen infotainment system that will support Android, Apple and auto CarPlay. There are high chances that the company might provide a wireless charging option in HBX’s top variant.
The car is expected to have a USB charging port, 12 volts charging socket, push start/stop button, dual climate control, multi-function steering wheel, power window, power steering and automatic seat adjustable.
Safety
Reports said the HBX might achieve a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP, and a 3-star rating in child safety. Customers can expect multiple airbags, parking sensors, rear camera, seat belt reminders and whatnot.
Engine
HBX is expected to launch with 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol unit as same as its sibling Tiago, which means it will generate 84 hp of max power and 113 Nm of peak torque. The car will be available in 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT options.
