'Disgusts me!' Katie Price, 43, slams TikTok fraudster who impersonated daughter Princess, 14, and spread lies about teen on the social media site

Katie Price has hit out at an online troll who impersonated her daughter Princess and spread lies about her on TikTok.

The former glamour model, 43, who has been campaigning for ID to be compulsory to open social media accounts, said she was disgusted by the unidentified person after her 14-year-old daughter was targeted.

Princess, who is also the daughter of one-time pop star Peter Andre, 48, said: 'Hey guys, this is a fake account and they are going around adding people from my TikTok followers and saying things about me to random people that aren’t true.'

Condemning the person's actions, Katie wrote online: 'Disgusts me people even at Princess’ age 14, people doing this to her #trolls.'

Princess has a sizable following on social media herself, with more than 442,000 followers on Instagram and more than 56,000 subscribers on YouTube, with her parents agreeing she could post videos once she reached the age of 13.

Former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! campmate Katie launched the Track a Troll petition earlier this year in a bid to make it compulsory for people over the age of 18 to have ID to open a social media account so they are accountable for their actions online.

She suggested that when people are under the age of 18 they should have to ask permission from a parent or guardian who should then produce their ID.

Katie - who, in addition to Princess is mother to Harvey, 19, Junior, 16, Jett, eight, and Bunny, seven - appeared on Channel 4 talk show, Steph's Packed Lunch earlier this year to launch the petition.

She said: 'Today, live, I've started a new petition, and it's called Track a Troll... Any online sites or apps should need you to sign in with ID, or if you're under 18 your parent or guardian can sign you in.'

Following the positive publicity, the petition has now long surpassed the required 100,000 signatures for the issue to be debated in Parliament, with more than 600,000 people signing it in total so far.

And Katie believes if Track a Troll were to be passed as a law by Parliament, it would force the social media houses to comply.

She explained: 'The future is online. But people are committing suicide, and trolling causes mental health [issues]. So, I think there should be some kind of law where perpetrators should be IDed.'

Katie continued: 'I get messages all the time through social media, asking for me to help. My previous petition, Harvey's Law, went to Parliament and they all agree with me that something needs to happen.'
