Ten cases of Covid-19 were reported in the district today. Of them, two patients came in contact with positive patients, three visited OPDs and four visited Flu Corner. Now there are 51 active cases in the district.
A total of 21,98,256 samples have been collected to date. The total number of patients belonging to Ludhiana is 87,452, while 11,650 patients belong to other districts or states.
A total of 2,095 patients from Ludhiana and 1,048 from other districts have died of the virus to date, according to the Health Department. A total of 10,158 samples were sent for testing today and their results are expected shortly.
