Marizanne Kapp produced a spectacular all-round display as she helped the Oval Invincibles win the inaugural women's Hundred final at Lords on Saturday.

The Invincibles, captained by another South African in Dane van Niekerk and also featuring Proteas fast bowler Shabnim Ismail beat tournament favourites Southern Braves by 48 runs.

Kapp scored a quick-fire 26 off just 14 balls to help the Invincibles set a total of 121/6 after their allotted 100 balls.

She then destroyed the Braves' top order, taking 4 for 9 in 18 balls as they could only muster 73 all out.

Ismail took 1/14 in her 20 balls while Van Niekerk, who scored a useful 26 with the bat, also took a wicket.

Kapp was deservedly name player of the match for her exploits.
