Kangpokpi, August 20 2021: With election fever sweeping Churachandpur district over the last couple of months, the intending candidate from 57-Henglep Assembly Constituency, Nehminthang Haokip reportedly embarked on public service in various sectors.

Recently, the intending candidate was reported to have assisted in clearing landslide along Henglep-Churachandpur road.

He engaged a JCB to clear the debris as it had completely cut off the Henglep area.

It may be mentioned that Nehminthang Haokip jumped into action and cleared the debris after reports of a landslide caused by heavy rain near S Kholep village along Henglep-Churachandpur road disrupting movement of vehicles and pedestrians surfaced.

The people of S Kholep and Henglep area expressed heartfelt gratitude to Nehminthang Haokip for his timely intervention in addressing the issue.
