The last date for submission of online applications for admission to three-year degree courses in Arts, Science and Commerce streams of Patna University (PU) has been extended by 10 days.

Kumar said that Vice-Chancellor Girish Kumar Choudhary has extended the date keeping in view the problems of many students living in the flood-affected areas of the state. Due to the floods many students were facing difficulties in stepping out of their homes and finding cyber cafes in their localities.
He said, for the first time, PU has started the online admission process for all undergraduate academic programmes. A student has to fill only one form selecting his/her choice of courses and colleges in order of preference.
He said that the list of students selected for admission on the basis of marks-cum-choice will be published soon after the last date of online form submission.
