FM Nirmala Sitharaman to visit Lucknow to participate in various programmes of UP, Central govts

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be on a day-long visit to Lucknow today to participate in various programmes of Uttar Pradesh and Central governments.

AIR correspondent reports, In the forenoon Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will witness the launching of Mission Shakti – Phase Three, with the aim promoting women safety, respect, and self-reliance.
More than 1.5 lakh girls will be benefited under Kanya Sumangla Yojana.
The foundation stone of the courtyard of Veerangana Avantibai Battalion will also be laid on this occasion.
In another programme Rs. 5100 crore as loan sanctioned by Punjab National Bank will be transferred for Ganga Express way construction.
In the afternoon, the finance minister will also launch Ubharte Sitare Fund which aims at arranging funds for promotion of small and medium companies.
