    Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.48% in a weak market

    The Nifty Pharma index was trading 0.48 per cent down at 14003.3.

    Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.
    NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded negative around 09:59AM (IST) on Friday in a weak market.

    Torrent Pharmaceuticals (up 1.3 per cent), Alkem Laboratories (up 0.3 per cent) and Biocon (up 0.03 per cent) were among the top gainers.

    Aurobindo Pharma (down 1.89 per cent), Dr Reddys Laboratories (down 1.45 per cent), Lupin (down 1.24 per cent), Cadila Healthcare (down 0.53 per cent) and Cipla (down 0.42 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

    The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.48 per cent at 14003.3 at the time of writing this report.

    Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 86.15 points at 16482.7, while the BSE Sensex was down 221.8 points at 55407.69.

    Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 12 were trading in the green, while 37 were in the red.

    Shares of Vodafone Idea, SAIL, YES Bank, Suzlon Energy and NALCO were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

    Shares of Nakoda Group Of Ind, KKV Agro Powers Ltd., Meghmani Finechem Ltd., N K Industries and Shreyas Ship hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Ujjivan SFB, Vertoz Advertising, Krsnaa Diagnostics Ltd., Radha Madhav and Windlas Biotech Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
