Adobe buys Frame.io for USD 1.275 billion

Adobe said it has agreed to buy Frame.io, a cloud-based video collaboration platform, in a transaction valued at USD 1.275 billion. The company has over 1 million users across media and entertainment companies, agencies, and global brands. Adobe said it will combine its own Premiere Pro and After Effects video editing products and creative software with Frame.io's review and approval functionality, to deliver a collaboration platform that powers the video editing process.
