Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot inaugurated new buildings of 15 existing police stations and 9 newly created police stations through a video conferencing. Gehlot said the State Government is committed to strengthening and modernization of police with an aim to provide speedy justice to the common man and help maintain law and order. The CM also said that in the last two and a half years, many important policy decisions have been taken which include mandatory FIR registration, reception in police stations, and Special Investigation Units to check crime against women. Modern resources have also been made available to the police.
