IPL 2021: Mumbai Indians players complete quarantine, start practice in Abu Dhabi – Follow live updates: Mumbai Indians were the first franchisee to land in the UAE for the second leg of IPL 2021. No sooner the franchisee touched the Gulf nation, they went into mandatory six-day quarantine as per the protocols. The blue brigade has successfully completed their quarantine at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi and will begin their practice sessions from Friday.

MI players enjoyed some quality time in the pool as they played some volleyball, with Ishan Kishan, Dhawal Kulkarni and the Pandya brothers all in attendance.

The blue brigade went a step further to ensure the safety for their players. MI players got special GPS enabled watched by Abu Dhabi health department for quarantine. Ahead of commencing any group training activities, all team members who will be included in the bubble will undergo COVID-19 RT-PCR testing plan.

IPL 2021 Phase 2: Mumbai Indians schedule

Mumbai Indians (MI) will be the first one to lock horns with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as the matches resume for IPL 2021 Phase 2. The two sides play the first match of the second leg on September 19.
