THANE: The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers on Friday ransacked Kharbaon toll naka situated in Bhiwandi taluka of Thane district over the issue of potholes.
The toll naka located on the state highway between Bhiwandi and Charoti village is filled with potholes.
On Thursday, MNS leader Avinash Jadhav along with workers had visited toll naka and protested against the collection of toll, demanding that the company should stop collection until the road is not repaired.
After Jadhav's protest, toll collection was stopped. However, on Friday, when local MNS workers got to know that the toll collection was resumed, few MNS workers visited the place and vandalised the office.
