CHANDIGARH: Aam Aadmi Party (
AAP)
MLA Aman Arora on Thursday termed the 13-point agenda of
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president
Sukhbir Singh Badal, as a 'bundle of lies' and said the SAD chief should first answer the questions of the people.
Mocking at SAD’s ‘Gal
Punjab Di' campaign, the AAP leader dubbed it as 'Gupp Punjab Di'.
Arora said that on the issue of farm laws and farmers, will Sukhbir Badal explain why Harsimrat Kaur Badal as Cabinet Minister signed the ordinance of the black laws? "Can you tell us how many farmers and laborers committed suicide in your state and why your (SAD-BJP) government did not support any victim family? These questions are not about the Aam Aadmi Party but about the existence and future of Punjab and its people," he said.
Similarly, on cheap power, AAP asked if Sukhbir will disclose the alleged deal with the private power companies. Arora said the state has been burdened with an additional burden of Rs 80,000 crore and people still face power shortages in the summers.
"SAD, the founder of sand, liquor, transport, cable, land, and other mafias in Punjab; when he talks of eradicating 'mafia', is laughable," he said.
“Will Sukhbir Badal tell us in whose government the desecration of Guru Granth Sahib took place? Who was the one who ordered the firing on the peaceful protesting sangat in Behbal Kalan? Which family is responsible for the decline of Panthic values and institutions by playing politics in the name of Panth?” added Arora.
