Indian operators unite, call on govt to approve package of measures to revive sector

Telecom operators in India have united to ask the government for better conditions, in a bid to revive the sector, Financial Express reported. The Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), has asked the government to reduce spectrum usage charges (SUC), and to extend the tenure of leased spectrum and on the moratorium on spectrum payments. The COAI's core membership includes Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and Reliance Jio Infocomm.
