How to properly fit a face mask on kids
Children should wear masks specially made to fit their smaller faces, the CDC says. A child's mask should fit snugly over their nose and mouth and under their chin, so that there are no gaps around the sides.
Gaps may allow any respiratory droplets containing COVID-19 to leak in or out around the mask.
Some masks come with a nose wire that can help improve fit.
The CDC does not recommend masks for children under 2 years old.
