St Thomas Boys’ High School, Aldona celebrated Independence Day. The flag was hoisted by health officer, Aldona PHC, Pritam Naik, who was accompanied by Mihir Khorjuvenkar and headmaster, Fr Valerian Carvalho. The cultural programme included speeches delivered by students Rishab Haldankar and Shubham Naik, followed by a patriotic song and a dance. Naik was felicitated for being a selfless and committed COVID-19 warrior.
In her speech she spoke on ‘The Importance of Health’.
