CHENNAI: A group of ten lawyers clashed at Kotturpuram police station, sending cops into a tizzy on Tuesday. Police said the clash broke out over a road laying work. The corporation was taking steps to lay lane in February, but one of the residents, D Padmanaban, a lawyer, opposed it claiming it would lead to flooding of his house during the rainy season. The case is pending in the court. Since the lane had many potholes residents put patch work along with two advocates J Balamurugan and P Manikandan, to which Padmanaban objected and a fight broke out. Later, police asked the groups to come to the police station. Police have booked cases against the groups.
