Hi guys i read online that protein takes abiut 20% of the calories it gives to digest itself. Does this mean that if i eat at maintenance using protein rich foods, I should expect to lose some weight?

If you eat at maintenance with that diet change, no. Your weight will stay the same.
But it is possible that increasing your protein intake lowers your overall calorie intake as protein can be more satiating than other macronutrients. And if that happens you will be in a calorie deficit and lose weight. The first principle is that you must not fool yourself—and you are the easiest person to fool.

No. If you ate only protein over time you would however that won't happen plus your body would be a mess. Just don't even think about TEF. you'll be off enough on your counting and tracking over time automatically where a few calories saved won't really matter in your calculations.

If you want something really thermogenic, try thermite. I gave some drug screens to guys that do maintenance work on railroad tracks. They use thermite to cut the tracks. They were working on a bridge and a red hot section of track fell into the water. It exploded. They said it looked and sounded really neat. A few minutes later they smelled grass and wood burning. When the track exploded, it sent red hot pieces of metal into the surrounding dry vegatation. They tried putting out the fires with their hand held extinguishers, but they were overwhelmed. They had to call the fire department.
When it was all extinguished, they told the fire department people that they heard some people shooting guns and that's what probably started the fire.
