Navi Mumbai reports 62 new Covid-19 cases, five deaths

NAVI MUMBAI: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) area on Thursday reported 62 new Covid-19 cases, taking the overall count to 1,04,686.
During the day, 70 people were discharged from hospitals after making a recovery. So far, 101,952 people have recovered.
Five patients also succumbed to the virus. Till date, 1,873 people have lost their lives.
192 people are in home isolation, while the active cases in the region now stand at 861.
Among the new cases, 13 people each tested positive in Nerul and Vashi, followed by 11 in Belapur, 10 in Ghansoli, eight in Turbhe, four in Koparkhairne and three in Airoli. No new case was found in Digha.
