The Geordie Shore beauty was terrified when an intruder climbed over the gate of the home in an affluent suburb of the city, according to The Sun.
The publication reported that the incident left her questioning whether she wants to be in the public eye anymore.
The fan left a note under a plant pot for Chloe and took pictures of the property and its grounds before leaving again, it was claimed.
A source said: 'Chloe thought she had moved into her dream home but the incident has put a downer on things.

Police in the local area subsequently began investigating the incident which left the star shaken up.
Northumbria Police said: 'We can confirm we received a report of an intruder on a property in Gosforth.
'We have spoken to the occupant of the address to offer them reassurance and advice.
'Enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the intruder and whether any criminal offences have taken place.'

The house overlooks the surrounding countryside and boasts a cinema room and a huge garden - perfect for fun-filled nights in with guests.
Back in March Chloe revealed she was selling her previous spacious home in Newcastle just a year after moving in and redecorating.
She had purchased the three-bedroom home, which boasts its own hot tub and bar, in February 2020 after her split from former co-star boyfriend Sam Gowland, 25.

However she has taken the plunge and has waved goodbye to the modern house after just a year.
