Imphal, August 18 2021: The annual 5-day long Kangla Ichaiba' ritual was performed at Utra Shanglen on Wednesday, a release by Shanglen publicity secretary has informed.

According to the release, the core of the ritual is offering prayers to Pakhangba and is to be performed for 5 days.

The first day of the ritual was performed at Kanglei Masumshang of Ibudhou Phakhangba in Sana Konung and was attended by Angom king, Angom Amubi, courtiers, Pena artistes and priests.
