Will work for development of Marathwada, Parbhani: Union MoS Karad

Parbhani, Aug 19 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Finance Bhagwat Karad on Thursday attacked the Maha Vikas Aghadi government for not working for development, and assured that he will work for the development of Marathwada and Parbhani.

Talking to media persons as his Jan Ashirwad Yatra reached here, the MoS curtly remarked, 'The development plans of the MVA government are not visible in Marathwada but the work done by the central government is visible, which is also witnessed by common people.'

As his yatra entered fourth day, Dr Karad stated that even after becoming a minister, one has to go to the public and understand their issues.

'The common man is satisfied with the functioning of the central government and the PM's initiative of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and now Sabka Prayas' to make the country prosperous and secure. This has been shown to the world over the last seven years,' he underscored.

Assuring the citizens that he is well aware of Parbhani's issues, he said, 'While serving Marathwada as the envoy of PM Narendra Modi, he would not be able to live without making a significant contribution to the development of the district as well as region of Marathwada.'

Subsequently, the yatra proceeded towards Pathri which is the birth place of Saibaba.

BJP MLA Meghna Bordikar, Chairman of Maharashtra State Commission for Child Rights Praveen Ghuge, State General Secretary of OBC Morcha Bapu Ghadamode, and district party leaders Anand Bharose and Dr Subhash Kadam were present on the occasion.
