Successful Aussie actress Emma Hamilton reveals why she made the tough decision to leave Hollywood for country Australia
As an actress, she's recently made her mark in both Hollywood and London's West End.
But Emma Hamilton, 37, who is currently starring in local drama RFDS, has revealed her reasons for moving to country Australia in an interview with News.com.au.
'After moving back from the UK I wanted to be near family and friends,' she said of her move to the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.

The star of Mary: The Making of a Princess moved to the coastal region with her one-year-old son Oliver.
They moved into a detached unit that features 'has a magical mature garden and is a few minutes walk from the beach'.
Emma, who starred alongside Henry Cavill in The Cold Light of Day, as well as playing opposite David Tennant for the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Richard II, is currently on Australian screens in RFDS as Dr. Eliza Harrod.

Seven's newest drama series, which premiered this month, has already been snapped up internationally, as reported by TV Tonight.
The program, about the lives of those serving in the Royal Flying Doctor Service, has already 'secured sales in six territories', according to the industry website.
RFDS has been bought by PBS in the United States and Channel 4 in the UK.

It has also been sold to New Zealand’s TVNZ, TV4 in Sweden, Belgium’s SBS and Talpa in the Netherlands.
RFDS will premiere on Australia's Channel Seven after the Farmer Wants a Wife reunion on Wednesday, August 11, at 8:40pm.
The show, which was filmed on location in Broken Hill, apart from Hamilton stars Stephen Peacocke, Rob Collins, Justine Clarke and Ash Ricardo.
