Chile to install fibre connections at border crossings in four regions

Chile's telecommunications regulator Subtel has revealed the details of a project to bring high-speed fibre connections to border crossings spanning four regions. Under the Fibre Optic in Border Complexes (FOCF) initiative, fibre networks will be deployed to enable border crossings to access the latest connectivity by the end of 2023.
