'Untold' on Netflix: Episode Release Schedule and What to Expect
Netflix's new documentary Untold delves into some intriguing topics. From Caitlyn Jenner's rise from Olympic star to media personality, to one of the most infamous brawls in NBA history and a boxing star's brush with death, the series promises to explore what happened "beyond the headlines."
The five-episode docuseries premiered on August 10 and the second instalment of the series aired on Tuesday, with a further three parts still to come up until September 7.
The latest of those three focuses on Jenner, her quest for Olympic glory at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal, Canada and her decision to transition.
Here's all you need to know about the episode release dates and what to expect.
What is Netflix's new series Untold?
Netflix's latest docuseries focuses on a series of tales across sports, from athletics to boxing, NBA and tennis.
"These stories aren't the ones you've heard before, even if you think you have," the streaming giant said in a press release.
"Each film kicks off at a pivotal moment and then delves deep into what happened, as told by those who lived it."
The films are directed by Chapman Way and Maclain Way, the directors of Wild Wild Country, Zion's director Floyd Russ as well as Laura Brownson and Crystal Moselle, the women behind The Rachel Divide and Lemon and Betty and The Wolfpack respectively.

When does Untold air next?
The first two parts of the five-episode series premiered on August 10 and August 17, respectively but can be watched on Netflix at any time. The next three episodes will be released each Tuesday over the next three weeks, starting with Untold: Caitlyn Jenner on August 24.
Which stories does Untold cover?
The first episode focused on the so-called "Malice at the Palace", the infamous brawl that erupted during an NBA game between the Indiana Pacers and the Detroit Pistons in November 2004.

What started as a relatively routine skirmish between players soon extended into a full-blown fracas that involved spectators and went down in NBA lore.
The second episode, Untold: Deal with the Devil, told the story of Christy Martin, a bonafide star of women's boxing, who narrowly avoided death at the hands of her former husband and coach, James Martin.
Next up on August 24 is Untold: Caitlyn Jenner, which charts Jenner's path from decathlon Olympic champion in 1976 to media personality and LGBTQ advocate.
The documentary delves into Jenner's acceptance of her own identity, her decision to transition and the relationship with her children.

Episode 4, which will air on August 31, explores the story of the Trashers, a UHL ice hockey based in Danbury, Connecticut and owned by Jimmy Galante, a trash mogul with ties to organized crime.
Galante installed his 17-year-old son A.J.—Galante and his family allegedly were the basis for The Sopranos—as the general manager presiding over a team of misfits, which was eventually shut down by the FBI.
The series finale, Untold: Breaking Point, tells the story of former tennis star Mardy Fish and his struggles with mental health.
In 2012, Fish abandoned a quarterfinal tie against Roger Federer at the U.S. Open and eventually announced a shock retirement, despite being the No. 1 ranked American on the ATP Tour.
Untold: Malice at the Palace and Untold: Deal with the Devil are both available to stream on Netflix now.
